Blurb: This book is about a boy called Ben whose parents are absolutely in love with ballroom dancing, Ben doesn't like ballroom dancing, he wants to grow up and be a plumber and he was in fact very good at it, Ben feels his parents don’t love him because he hated their hobbie. Every Friday Ben would go to his boring granny’s house, Ben hates his granny because she’s boring and has a horrible smell of cabbage, granny would have cabbage all day everyday, she would eat cabbage pie, cabbage soup and even cabbage mints. Ben was suspicious when his eyes zoomed across all of granny’s magazines and books because they we all about diamonds and jewels, and he wondered why his boring old granny had all these exciting spy books. When Ben finds out that his boring granny was a jewel thief he thought she wasn’t so boring after all. Granny told ben all these amazing stories about her times she stole diamonds and rings, one of the stories was…. It was granny’s first time she had ever stolen something and she was very poor so she went to Lord Davenports mansion and stole his wife's diamond ring and she even survived after being chased by man eating dogs and gunshots firing everywhere. Ben wanted to spend time with his granny and steal the crowns jewels but they didn't know how to get into the castle so Ben used his plumbing skills and found a way in through the pipes, Ben and his granny were already so of they went on there amazing journey to steal the crowns jewels.
