Reading outside of the box- Loved by others

Title: Mr Stink
Author: David Walliams
Opinion: I think this book is very funny especially with the awesome connection between Chloe and her Dad because they're always making jokes, it has lots of sad bits as well mainly when Mr Stink is talking about his past life and how he lost his wife and money.
Recommendation: I recommend this book to 8-12yrs, I also recommend reading this book if you like jokes.
Blurb: This book is about a man who lives on a bench. His name is Mr Stink because he absolutely does stink. Everybody hates the smell of him.  Nobody ever comes and talks to him until one day, a 12 year old girl called Chloe decides to gain the courage and speak to Mr Stink. When Chloe finds out the truth about Mr Stink, she realises he isn’t so bad after all.

Chloe is lonely too and her and Mr Stink become very good friends. Chloe wants to keep him in her house so he won't have to sleep outside any more, so Chloe quietly sneaks him into the shed. Everything was going as planned until one day Chloe forgets his sausages for breakfast and Mr Stink comes knocking on the window when the times journalist is there interviewing Chloe's mum because she wants to be prime minister. Then everything went wrong.
