Title: The Midnight Gang
Author: David Walliams
Blurb: This book is about a boy called Tom. Tom's family lives very far away and he never see's them, so his rich parents sent him to a posh boarding school. At his boarding school there was a little accident and Tom got rushed to Lord Funt Hospital. Tom stays one night at the children's ward and doesn't want to leave. Tom was awake all of the first night because he was spying on Robin, George and Amber (the other patients in the ward), and discovered dreams really can come true. ''The midnight gang", was what the four of them called themselves is planning George's dream to fly but an old lady called Nelly who thinks she is a little girl steals George's thunder and the Midnight gang get's caught. Sally on the other hand is the illest child in the ward and is suffering from heart weakness and has to miss out on all the fun at midnight because everyone thinks she will slow them down but she doesn't know that.
Recommendation: I recommend this book to 8-14 year olds, boy and girl and also if you enjoy mystery.
Opinion: This book is sad but happy, and has great adventures that hooks you in because you can imagine everything happening like it was real.
