Author : Andy Mulligan
Opinion : This book was exciting to read because the mature language used was a challenge for me. The conflict that goes on really hooked me in, the experience of ‘Ripplemoor’ come to my mind in an instant because the vivid descriptive language created a great picture.
Recommendation : I would recommend this to older age groups, 11-16yrs boys and girls because there are some tricky mature language and there is a mixture of genders for the main characters.
Blurb : It’s the end of the Easter holidays, and the Ribblestrop pupils are returning for the last term. Some of the Ribblestrop pupils had a crash in a plane when the pilot had a horrific heart attack, they landed on to the top of a bus driven by a bunch of students. Later, when they have been expelled from their school by one of the many adults who hate the Ribblestrop pupils, and teachers, set off to build their own tree-top settlement on Ripplemoor, living life as their ancestors did, working together as a community, and thoroughly enjoying the freedom it gives them.
Can they uncover the ancient mysteries of a secret tribe in Ripplemoor? Read the book and find out!
